2001 saw the creation of the ACE European Group comprising two of the most significant businesses within the ACE Group, ACE Europe and ACE Global Markets - ACE's operations in Lloyds.Headquartered in London, ACE European Group serves markets in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

ACE underwrites marine business either through local offices in Europe or through Lloyds of London, depending upon such factors as location, capacity, and clients' business.

We have a well-established presence in nearly 50 countries around the world and are staffed almost exclusively by local nationals.
